Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has urged the club to do everything possible to keep Mohamed Salah, insisting the Egyptian forward deserves whatever contract he is asking for, softfootball reports.
Salah is entering the final months of his current deal at Anfield, meaning he will be free to negotiate with overseas clubs from January 1 if no extension is agreed.

Speaking to Amazon Prime, Fowler said Liverpool should not hesitate to reward their star forward.
“I’d give him what he wants, I think that’s the simple answer,” Fowler said.
“I’m not big on the involvement, I’m big on the goals. Mo Salah’s performances for Liverpool, for the contract he wants, he is a fantastic player. He is a game player that can win and change the game in a second.”
Reports have suggested Salah is open to signing a one-year extension, but there has been little progress in negotiations between the player and the club.
Liverpool also face contract uncertainty with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk, whose current deals are also set to expire at the end of the season. All three players have remained tight-lipped about their futures amid growing speculation.
