Former Leeds United star Mateusz Bogusz secures new agent ahead of next move

Former Leeds United midfielder, Mateusz Bogusz has changed his representatives ahead of his next move, Softfootball reports.

The 24-year-old has endured a lot of ups and down in his career just like his former club. Leeds even lost 3-1 against Nottingham Forest in their last premier league match before the international break.

According to football expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, revealed that Mateusz Bogusz has his eyes firmly set on a move elsewhere and have changed representatives to that respect. He said:

Mateusz Bogusz has decided to join new agency as representatives ahead of his next move. European and MLS clubs keen as Bogusz can leave in 2026.

After leaving Leeds United, Bogusz was transferred from Los Angeles FC (LAFC) to Mexican club Cruz Azul in January 2025 for a reported fee of approximately $9 million to $10 million. This deal was a record-breaking fee for LAFC and was considered a standard transfer between the two clubs.

Leeds just gained promotion to the premier league at the start of this season and have recruited the likes of Noah Okafor to help their survival bid. Leeds United are currently 16th with 11 points on the premier league table.
