Daniel Farke did not try to dress it up or overcomplicate the situation when reflecting on Leeds United’s recent momentum as reported by leeds united via their youtube channel following wins like the 3–0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers and the 2–1 result against Manchester United. His message stayed grounded, focused, and consistent throughout.

We have achieved a lot but nothing is done yet. We want more points and probably also need more points and for that we will stay with the foot on the gas and go one battle after another. We concentrate always on the next game and we still have opportunities to win more points and this is how we go with this mindset right now.

He continued by stressing how quickly things can change in the Premier League, even when a team feels confident.

It’s always important to use momentum and the good periods during the season to take advantage of it and win as many points as possible because on this level the momentum can change pretty quickly. We know we are in a good moment right now and we have a good position, but we need and want more points. For that of course we want to take this confidence and this mood into the next game and make sure we can ride this wave as long as possible.

On squad fitness and availability, Farke sounded cautiously optimistic while also making it clear that returning players must earn their way back fully.

It seems like everyone who was available for the last game is also available for this game as it stands. Daniel James is back in team training which is good news but he needs session after session right now. Joe Rodon was already involved before the last game and there is no setback so he should also be available. Anton is not back in team training so he won’t travel.

He then shifted focus to individual improvement, using recent performances to highlight his philosophy, particularly when speaking about attackers and their responsibilities beyond just scoring goals.

My attitude is that fitness level is important and we’ve worked a lot on this topic and also on the mindset, especially for offensive players, that they don’t just think about goals and assists but about the benefit they can have for the team. That means playing a role in pressing, in the workload against the ball, helping teammates, and working together as a unit. If you concentrate on these topics and you have a good game, then the end product will come automatically. If you only think about goals and you never score, it doesn’t help. Make sure you play well first.

Looking ahead to the challenge posed by AFC Bournemouth, Farke showed respect but also confidence in his side’s ability to compete.

It’s no coincidence if you are unbeaten for so many games on this level. They are one of the most intense sides in this league in terms of pressing, counter-pressing, and their direct style of play. They play with top fitness level and top mentality. It will be a very tough trip and we have to be there with 100 percent because we cannot afford even one percent less. But if we are at our best, we have shown that we can get results wherever we go.

Even with the FA Cup semi-final approaching, his stance did not change total focus on the present.

Nothing at all distracts us. One battle after another. We are just focused on this game and don’t think about anything else.

And finally, on the growth and maturity of his team, Farke underlined that progress has been earned, not given.

We are very happy with the run we are on. It’s important for a promoted side to develop this belief that you can bring tight leads over the line, defend under pressure, and win games in difficult situations. But it’s not a guarantee. You have to earn this right in every game. If you allow yourself to give even one or two percent less, then you have no chance on this level. That’s why it’s important we stay humble, stay hungry, and continue doing what we’ve done in recent weeks.

Softfootball stated that For Leeds, the message is simple but powerful momentum means nothing without consistency.

The recent wins have pushed them closer to safety, but every remaining match now carries the same weight, and the focus remains firmly on finishing the job without losing the intensity that got them here.
