Liverpool fans thought they’ve seen the worst this season when archrivals Manchester United beat them at Anfield earlier this season but a 3-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest is giving them nightmares, Softfootball understands.
The Reds losing 3-0 to Nottingham Forest makes a mockery of their title defence and makes it extremely difficult for them to compete for the title they won last season without much sweat.

Liverpool was sad about the loss and used a one-word post on their official X handle after the game. They wrote:

Mohammed Salah played his 300th match in the Premier League for Liverpool and obviously it wasn’t the type of result he envisage on a day he reached a great milestone.
Interestingly, Salah also lost the CAF Player of the Year award to Achraf Hakimi earlier week and its one the Egyptian would like to forget as quickly as possible.

Although, Red manager Arne Slot already took responsibility in an interview shared by Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, when he said:
If things go well or things go bad it’s always my responsibility. I tried to adjust a few things that didn’t really work out. We have quality players. It’s my job to get the best out of them. I am not at the moment. It’s my responsibility.
Fans like, ADEMOLA still want to understand what is wrong at Liverpool after losing 7 out of 10 matches in recent times which is unprecedented. He said:
What’s happening at Liverpool right now is the same cycle Chelsea went through years ago the players stop performing, the manager pays the price, and the sack always follows. Slot’s decisions haven’t helped either. Today said it all: your best striker starts on the bench, and Szoboszlai your best midfielder is thrown at right-back again. It’s a disaster waiting to happen.
Marcus ₿urelius accepts the manager’s comment that he is responsible for the defeat. He submitted:
This is exactly what Liverpool fans needed to hear right now. Arne Slot just stood up and took full responsibility with no excuses at all. He said the tactics are on him and the results are on him even after everything the club has been through this month. That kind of ownership is rare in the Premier League these days. Most managers point fingers but he looked straight in the camera and owned the mess. Respect to him for that. Liverpool will turn this around because the manager is not hiding.

Kisalay wishes the coach finds his mojo back and hopefully Liverpool would bounce back. He said:
It’s wild watching a coach own the storm like this. You can feel the weight in every line, like he’s trying to carry a whole stadium on his back while the noise keeps getting louder. There’s something raw about admitting you’re falling short when the world expects magic. It’s the kind of honesty people pretend they want until they hear it for real. Slot looks like a man who’s replaying every choice in his head, hoping one of them unlocks the version of his team he knows exists somewhere. Football can be brutal like that.
