A discussion has emerged on X after fans questioned whether the Super Eagles’ media team handled the photography and video coverage of the team’s departure from Cairo, Egypt, and arrival in Morocco ahead of AFCON 2025.

The Super Eagles recently shared visuals of the squad wearing green native senator attire, a look that drew widespread admiration and reactions from fans online. While many praised the team’s steeze and presentation, others raised concerns over who actually captured the content.

X user Chidiadi T. Hope commented under the Super Eagles’ post, praising the quality of the visuals by saying:
And they said we didn’t have good cameras
However, this comment sparked a response from another user, Timilehin, who doubted that the Super Eagles’ media team was responsible for the photos. According to him, the images were taken by The Fans Tribe, a Nigeria-based football analysis podcast team.
Softfootball observed that the exchange generated mixed reactions, with some users siding with Timilehin, while others defended the Super Eagles’ media unit.

It is worth recalling that the Super Eagles’ media team has previously faced criticism from fans over alleged poor coverage and camera quality during national team activities. Despite this history,
Softfootball cannot independently confirm that another media team handled the coverage and finds no concrete evidence to suggest the Super Eagles’ media unit was not responsible for the visuals.
As the Super Eagles continue their AFCON 2025 preparations, fan engagement and scrutiny remain high both on and off the pitch.
