Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has admitted that coming up against Victor Osimhen in Serie A ranks among the toughest challenges of his career, softfootball reported.
The Udinese shot-stopper faced his Nigerian teammate during last season’s league meeting with Napoli, a match that ended 1-1. Osimhen found the back of the net in the encounter, once again showing why he is regarded as one of Europe’s most clinical forwards.
Reflecting on that experience, Okoye described the Galatasaray striker as a natural goalscorer whose instinct in front of goal makes him incredibly difficult to stop.
