Enzo Maresca has underlined the importance of Rodri, insisting every manager would want the Manchester City midfielder in their squad.
Speaking about the Spain international, Maresca said:

The comments come as Real Madrid continue to intensify their pursuit of Rodri.
Softfootball previously confirmed that Los Blancos had reopened their interest in the Spain captain after club president Florentino Pérez gave the green light to explore a deal.
Real Madrid have since made their first approach to Manchester City, with verbal discussions between the clubs now underway following months of inactivity.
Negotiations remain in the early stages, while Manchester City continue to hope Rodri will remain at the Etihad Stadium despite growing interest from the Spanish giants.
