Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez could be on the move this summer after his agent, Javier Pastore, revealed that the player’s representatives are exploring possible options away from Stamford Bridge, Softfootball reports.
Pastore confirmed that discussions are taking place behind the scenes regarding Fernandez’s future, although he was quick to stress that no agreement has been reached with any club.
“He’s only thinking about that [the World Cup], and we’re looking at possibilities for him to leave Chelsea, but there’s nothing concrete or confirmed with any club,”
Pastore said
The comments come amid continued speculation linking the Argentina international with a move to Real Madrid, although Pastore insisted there is currently no completed deal or advanced agreement.
Despite the growing transfer rumours, Fernandez remains fully focused on helping Argentina defend their World Cup crown. The midfielder has been one of Lionel Scaloni’s key players during the tournament, with all transfer discussions being handled by his representatives while he concentrates on international duty.
