Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has expressed satisfaction with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s debut following the club’s 1-1 Ligue 1 draw against Reims.

The Georgian winger, who recently completed a high-profile move from Napoli, made an immediate impact by providing the assist for Ousmane Dembele’s goal. Softfootball gathered that Enrique believes the former Napoli star showed encouraging signs despite facing a difficult first outing in French football.

Speaking after the match, the Spanish coach explained that Kvaratskhelia still needs time to adapt to his new teammates and understand the tactical demands of the squad.

Enrique praised the winger’s contribution and expressed confidence that the debut would be the beginning of a successful spell in Paris.

The PSG boss also admitted Reims proved difficult opponents, especially between two Champions League fixtures, as their disciplined defensive approach limited his team’s attacking opportunities.

Despite dominating possession, PSG were unable to find a winning goal and had to settle for a point.
