Softfootball reports that England and former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel have expressed satisfaction with his squad’s development as preparations continue for Saturday’s World Cup qualifier against Andorra.
The England head coach reflected on the team’s progress through recent camps, insisting that focus remains on the present. Tuchel made the statement during a pre-match conference held this evening that was released on the England national team website.
Tuchel said:
It’s never about what you did, it’s always about what you do in the moment and then go forward. We can feel it’s a change of attitude now that we’re in the World Cup season.
However, the England team got a setback after John Stones was withdrawn ahead of Saturday’s game against Andorra, for which the reasons given by Coach Tuchel, as reported by Softfootball, were to avoid any further risk to the player.
Aside from this, Tuchel then raised that the camp is calmer while newcomers like Nottingham Forest player Anderson are properly integrated into the philosophy of the team.
I cannot be happier with the engagement, the quality, the awareness and how the group is together. Hopefully we have another trop training session later today and hopefully we can prove the point to you that fans can see what I see on a daily basis.

The Three Lions will be playing their first game in the September World Cup qualifying window on Saturday at Villa Park against Andorra, who had suffered a lone-goal defeat from England in their last meeting in June. England leads Group K with nine points, having won their last three games and conceded three goals.
