I thought the performance at times was good. We gave up too many transitions – mainly in the second half. I’m disappointed we didn’t get the second goal.

The Hammers under new boss Nuno Espirito Santo improved in the second and secured a goal by Jarrod Bowen to make it 1-1. The England international became the first visiting player to score a Premier League goal at Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium.
