Four weeks on from their EFL Cup final triumph over Arsenal at Wembley, Manchester City seized control of the Premier League title race with a massive 2-1 victory against Arsenal in an epic Etihad encounter. The momentum is clearly with Pep Guardiola’s side as they continue to chase down the title with ruthless consistency.

Meanwhile, Burnley face a huge uphill battle as they prepare to host City at Turf Moor. the Clarets are fighting to delay what looks like inevitable relegation, while City arrive with confidence, quality, and a clear objective: finish the job.
Softfootball mentioned that this conversation was further fueled by a passionate breakdown shared in a recent YouTube video by Adika, where he gave his thoughts on the title race, key fixtures, and what lies ahead.

His take didn’t hold back:
I believe Manchester City win the title from this point, but don’t get too comfortable because Arsenal are still there, still watching, still hoping for one mistake. But let’s be honest, if Rodri is fit, if this City team stays focused, then it’s done. Burnley are in terrible form, they keep losing, and historically this fixture is always one-sided. You see results like 5-0, 6-0, it’s not even competitive most times.
This is a mismatch, simple. Arsenal fans will be watching with hope, but deep down, they know what City can do. Pep doesn’t just beat you, he breaks you mentally. Even if the game goes to the 90th minute, they’ll still find a way.
For me, this title race is already over unless something crazy happens, and I don’t see that happening. Burnley can fight, they can try to survive, but against this City team, especially at this stage of the season, it’s a different level entirely.
City have the players, the system, the mentality everything. So if you’re chasing them, you better be perfect, because they won’t slip easily.

Across all leagues, the message is simple this is the decisive phase of the season, where form, mentality, and consistency separate champions from contenders and survivors from relegated sides.
