Speaking after the match, Gusto could not hide his joy. He said in a post shared by Chelsea on their official X account:

It’s been a long time since I came here, and this is only the beginning. I’m really proud. I’ve been waiting for this moment, and I’m happy for my family and the fans.

The 21-year-old also praised Garnacho’s delivery, with their growing chemistry earning plenty of attention. Even Softfootball noted how the winger’s creativity, progress and work rate are beginning to earn him praise from Maresca.

Reflecting on the match, Gusto admitted Chelsea needed patience in the first half. He said:

We struggled to find space. At half-time, the manager told us to stay calm because the chance would come, and it did.

Looking ahead, Gusto wants this to be just the start of something bigger. He added:

We’ve won two Premier League games in a row now, and that’s important. We just have to keep pushing and building something stronger together.
