Chelsea have confirmed that Cole Palmer will wear the club’s No. 10 shirt, taking over the number previously worn by Ukrainian winger Mykhailo Mudryk.

Palmer has become one of Chelsea’s most influential players since arriving from Manchester City and has established himself as a key figure in the club’s attacking plans. The decision to hand him the No. 10 shirt reflects his growing importance at Stamford Bridge.

Softfootball reports that the England international has developed into a central attacking player for Chelsea, contributing goals, assists and creativity. His performances have quickly made him one of the most popular figures among the club’s supporters.

The No. 10 shirt carries significant history at Chelsea and has previously been worn by several notable attacking players. Palmer will now take on the responsibility associated with the number as he continues to develop his career in west London.

Mudryk had worn the shirt since joining Chelsea, but the Ukrainian’s future at the club has remained uncertain. Palmer’s promotion to the number is therefore another indication of the role Chelsea expect him to play going forward.

The midfielder has already shown the confidence and technical ability required to perform under pressure. His ability to create chances and score important goals has made him a crucial part of the team.

Palmer will now hope the new shirt number brings another successful chapter as he targets more trophies and continues establishing himself among the Premier League’s leading attacking players.
