Chelsea have failed to pick any points from their last two Premier League fixtures as they were pummeled 3-1 at home by Brighton.
Softfootball can report that the Blues finished the encounter with 10 men after Trevoh Chalobah was sent off for denying an opponent a clear goalscoring opportunity.
This makes it back-to-back losses for the Blues following their 2-1 defeat against Manchester United last week at Old Trafford.

Robert Sanchez returned for Chelsea after serving his suspension midweek. He spent just five minutes on the Old Trafford pitch before his red card exit last weekend but Enzo Maresca trusts him with a starting spot.
Brazilian, Andrey Santos and Jorrel Hato started in place of injured duo Cole Palmer and Wesley Fofana in two changes from defeat at Manchester United last weekend while Joao Pedro started against his former club.
Chelsea had a first half lead after Reece James’ quality cross found Joao Pedro and he links play swiftly with Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez found himself completely free and heads it into an empty goal.
However, it all changed in the second half as Chalobah was shown a straight red card for stopping a goal bound player.
After Brighton drew 2-2 against against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, they felt an opportunity with the Red card and pushed for a win at Stamford Bridge.
Substitute Danny Welbeck leveled scores at 1-1 with a brilliant header at the far post in the 77th minute. De Cuyper then gave Brighton the lead from another header when he connected a very good corner kick n the second minute before Welbeck finished from close range to seal the 3-1 victory.

Chelsea now dropped to seventh with eight points on the Premier League table while Brighton moved up to 10th with the same eight points but lesser goals difference.
