Calvin Bassey finished third in Fulham’s Player of the Match voting despite scoring the winning goal against Nottingham Forest.
The Super Eagles defender headed home the decisive strike in the 62nd minute to secure a 2-1 victory, but Adama Traore claimed the top honor with 45.7 percent of the fan votes. Softfootball reports that Saša Lukić came in second place.
This result marks Bassey’s first Premier League goal in 24 appearances this season, ending a long drought since his last strike against Manchester United in February 2024.
His contribution was vital in helping Fulham record their third consecutive win and move up to eighth place in the league table with 39 points.
