If a team wins the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup and finishes second in the Premier League, while another team wins the Premier League, it raises a big question of who has had the better season.

For example, Manchester City having won the Carabao Cup and possibly win the FA Cup, and Arsenal win the Premier League, who has had the better season? This is a question fans, football analysts, and pundits will have to answer.

Manchester City will be facing Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-finals, while Arsenal will face Southampton, and Chelsea will take on Port Vale. However, Softfootball’s focus is mainly on Manchester City and Arsenal.

If City defeat Liverpool, there is a strong chance they could go on to win the FA Cup. Should they achieve that and also finish second in the league, while Arsenal only win the Premier League, Softfootball believes City may have had the better season.

This is because City would end the campaign with two trophies, while Arsenal would have just one. Although the magnitude of the Premier League is higher compared to the FA Cup and Carabao Cup, the number of trophies won is also an important factor.

Winning two trophies and finishing second is still a strong performance, especially considering how difficult the season has been for Manchester City.
