Former Manchester United winger Antony made an impressive start to his loan spell at Real Betis after being named Player of the Match in the club’s 2-2 draw with Athletic Bilbao.
The Brazilian joined the Spanish side for the remainder of the season after struggling to establish himself as an important player at Manchester United.
According to Softfootball, Antony quickly made his presence felt during his LaLiga debut, providing an assist after his effort was saved before former Real Madrid star Isco followed up to score.

The 24-year-old eventually received the LaLiga MVP award for his performance and celebrated the recognition on social media.
Antony wrote on Instagram:
Let’s go for more! Happy to be elected MVP!!!
Antony joined United from Ajax in 2022 for an initial £82 million but has struggled to justify his transfer fee, scoring just 12 goals in 96 appearances for the club.
His move to Betis represents an opportunity to rebuild his confidence and regain his form.
Meanwhile, United’s difficult season continued as they suffered a 2-0 home defeat to Crystal Palace.
