Manchester United delivered what many are calling their greatest performance in years, defeating Crystal Palace 2-1 at home in dramatic fashion.

Softfootball gathered, United fell behind as early as the 4th minute when Maxence Lacroix scored, assisted by Brennan Johnson. Palace held their 1-0 lead into halftime despite bookings for Daichi Kamada in the 6th minute and United’s Diogo Dalot in the 36th minute.

The second half changed everything. Dean Henderson received a yellow card in the 49th minute before Lacroix saw a straight red card in the 56th minute, conceding a penalty. Bruno Fernandes converted in the 57th minute to level the score at 1-1.

United took full control, and around the 65th minute Benjamin Šeško scored the winner, assisted again by Fernandes. Ayden Heaven picked up a late yellow card in the 89th minute, but the hosts saw out the victory.
The 2-1 result lifts Manchester United into third position in the EPL, level on points with Aston Villa but ahead on goal difference. With attention now on Arsenal vs Chelsea, United could extend the gap over Chelsea to six points if results go their way.
