The Catalans secured a commanding 3–0 victory over Levante UD. Softfootball gathered, Marc Bernal opened the scoring in the 4th minute, setting the tone early. It was clear throughout the match that Levante struggled to cope with Barcelona’s intensity and structure. De Jong, stepping up in the absence of Pedri, delivered an elite performance, dictating play, arriving late into the box, and adding a crucial goal.

Credit must also go to Eric García, who impressed from defence and provided an assist, as well as Dani Olmo for his influence in attack.

Barcelona, who won LaLiga last season, are determined to defend their crown. As of Monday, 23 February 2026, they have drawn just once and lost four matches this campaign, a strong record in a tightly contested race.

However, with only a one-point lead, the season remains wide open. Focus and consistency will be key as the title battle continues.
