Diogo Dalot has revealed how he guided new signing Benjamin Sesko through the pressures of English football, advising him to stay grounded amid media hype, Softfootball reports.

Diogo Dalot: “I told Benjamin Sesko.. you know what will happen here? You will score one goal and the media will say you are going to be the BEST striker, the next one”. “And when that happens. I need you to be the SAME guy the next day”, told @RioMeets.

Sesko, who joined United from RB Leipzig in 2025 for €76.5 million plus add-ons, signed a five-year deal until 2030 and took the number 30 shirt at Old Trafford. The 22-year-old striker credits Dalot’s mentorship for easing his adaptation to the spotlight and expectations surrounding the club.
