Torino have completed the agreement to sign Luca Marianucci on loan from Napoli until June. Torino will cover his full salary.

It’s a short-term but important addition for Torino, who are looking to strengthen their backline for the rest of the season.

Marianucci, 21, was born in Livorno and came through the ranks at Empoli. He made his professional debut in 2024–25, contributing two assists in 24 Serie A appearances, even though Empoli got relegated.

Napoli, who recently lost 3-2 to Chelsea in the Champions League, snapped him up in the summer of 2025 for a reported €9 million, signing him to a long-term deal until 2030.

Despite being considered a future key player, Marianucci hasn’t seen much first-team action at Napoli. That lack of minutes is what led to this loan move, he needs regular football to keep developing.

Torino offer him that chance, and Napoli hope it will keep him sharp, competitive, and ready to return stronger.

The deal also reflects Napoli’s approach to young talent, sign them, develop them, and when needed, loan them out for experience. The club remains busy in the market, reportedly eyeing Bologna’s Sam Beukema and Dan Ndoye to further reinforce their squad.

By letting Marianucci go on loan, with Torino covering wages, Napoli, who have been linked with Martin Terrier, ease short-term financial pressure while safeguarding the player’s long-term value.

For Marianucci himself, it’s more than just a temporary move, it’s a real chance to prove himself, get consistent game time, and come back ready to fight for a place in Napoli’s first team.
