Jordi Cruyff has hailed Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes as one of the finest footballers he has ever seen, Softfootball reports.

Scholes like most Red Devils fans have watched the team suffer a lot since Ruben Amorim took charge of the team and was happy last week when Manchester United beat Wolves 4-1 in a premier league fixture.

Speaking on the OverLap’s official podcast, the former Manchester United and Barcelona star revealed his admiration for Scholes. He said:

I just couldn’t believe how good and how humble he was! I remember, there was a week that he scored four on a Sunday and on Wednesday or one week to a game, he scored like six or seven goals and he came the next day as if nothing happened.

Manchester United host Bournemouth in the Match-Day 16 of the premier league and Scholes will be a pundit, analysing and watching the current crop of Red Devils players and so far, has not been overly impressed by the team.
