It was a bad day in the office for Antoine Semenyo as he missed a penalty in Bournemouth’s 4-0 defeat against Aston Villa in the Match-Day 11 of the premier league played on Sunday evening, Softfootball reports.
Unai Emery’s men have improved in recent weeks following their poor start to the season that even men the Coach call out his players as lazy. Aston Villa defeated Maccabi Tel Aviv 2-0 in midweek and followed it up with a brilliant win this evening at Villa Park.

Emi Buendia, who has been playing regularly for Villa in recent weeks scored a beautiful freekick in the 20th minute. The ball moved above the wall before dipping back down perfectly to nestle in the back of the net. It was an amazing opening goal and Buendia’s third goal in the Premier League this season.
Amadou Onana finds Morgan Rogers combined with a beautiful one-two and the former Everton midfielder finished with aplomb to make it 2-0 in favour of Aston Villa. However, at the other end, Bournemouth were awarded a penalty after Rogers’ arm blocked Evanilson’s header back across goal but Emi Martinez guessed right and saved Semenyo’s penalty.

In the second half, Aston Villa completely dominated the game with captain McGinn, who recently signed a new contract with the club helping to control the midfield. The home side eventually got the third goal as Lucas Digne played in Ross Barkley to score.
Bournemouth tried to reduce the deficit as striker, Evanilson saw his header come off the woodwork but it was Aston Villa that got another goal as Belgium international Youri Tielemans found Donyell Malen inside the penalty area and he scored to make it 4-0.

Aston Villa now moves to seventh on the premier league table with 18 points while Bournemouth drops to ninth with the same points.
