Liverpool manager, Arne Slot has revealed that Alexander Isak and Ryan Gravenberch are both doubtful to face Brentford at the Gtech stadium on Saturday, Softfootball reports.

The Reds lost 2-1 at Anfield to Manchester United last weekend but bounced back with a comprehensive 5-1 demolition of Bundesliga outfit, Eintracht Frankfurt in the UEFA Champions League match played in midweek.

According to Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, he shared excerpts of Slot’s pre-match interview ahead of the Saturday 8pm kick-off event. He wrote:

Arne Slot on Alexander Isak’s groin issue: It’s not too bad. Question mark for the weekend and let’s see where he is. It’s the same for Ryan Gravenberch. He didn’t travel with us, yesterday we were in and today as well.

Gravenberch did not travel to Germany with the rest of the team as a result of a twisted ankle while Isak picked up a knock during the Champions League match in midweek.

Liverpool are desperate to get back to winning ways in the premier league as they are currently placed third with 15 points after eight matches so far while Brentford are 13th with 10 points after the same number of matches.
