Brentford have officially confirmed the signing of winger Jaidon Anthony from Burnley, completing one of their key pieces of business during the summer transfer window.

The Premier League club have finalised the transfer for a £17 million fixed fee, with a further £3 million in performance-related add-ons. Anthony has also signed a five-year contract, committing his long-term future to the Bees.

The announcement follows Softfootball earlier report that Brentford had reached an agreement in principle with Burnley, with only the final formalities remaining before the deal could be completed. Those procedures have now been concluded, making Anthony officially a Brentford player.

The 25-year-old arrives after establishing himself as a dangerous attacking option, known for his pace, direct running, and ability to create chances from wide areas. Brentford believe his qualities will strengthen their attacking depth as they prepare for another demanding Premier League campaign.

The signing also reflects Brentford’s continued recruitment strategy of identifying high-value players capable of making the step up and contributing immediately at the highest level. The club has built a strong reputation for making smart investments while maintaining long-term squad development.

Anthony now begins a new chapter at the Gtech Community Stadium, where he will be expected to compete for a regular starting role and help Brentford achieve their ambitions in the upcoming season.
