Barcelona showed the resilience of champions on Saturday night, overturning a two-goal halftime deficit to claim a dramatic 3-2 win away at Levante.
Before the game, Barcelona knew they had to win their next game in order to have momentum and the result keeps Hansi Flick’s men perfect in LaLiga this season with two wins from two and extends their remarkable run of nine straight away victories in the competition.

Softfootball reports that things could hardly have started worse for the visitors. Iván Romero stunned the Catalans on 15 minutes, slipping beyond Barça’s high defensive line before finishing coolly past Joan García. And just when Barcelona looked as if they might steady themselves, disaster struck in stoppage time. A VAR check penalized Alejandro Balde for handball, and José Luis Morales confidently converted from the spot to double Levante’s advantage with virtually the last kick of the half.

That left Barcelona with a mountain to climb, but they responded in trademark fashion. Barely four minutes into the restart, Pedri breathed life into the contest with a thunderous strike from distance, a goal that instantly changed the momentum. Moments later, Ferran Torres finally got his reward after earlier misses, volleying home from a corner to haul his side level by the 52nd minute.
Barcelona posted their excitement via their official X handle:
From there it was wave after wave of Barça pressure. Gavi and Dani Olmo injected fresh energy after coming on at the break, while Robert Lewandowski was introduced to stretch Levante’s tiring backline. The home side still posed a threat on the counter, but Barcelona’s class began to show.

The decisive moment arrived deep into stoppage time. Lamine Yamal, outstanding all evening with his direct running and creativity, floated in a teasing cross that caused panic in the Levante box. Under pressure, defender Unai Elgezabal headed into his own net, sending the traveling fans into raptures.
It was heartbreak for Levante, who remain without a point on their return to the top flight, but sheer relief for Barcelona, who sit top of the table with maximum points ahead of next week’s trip to Rayo Vallecano.
