Everton have reached a full agreement with Chelsea to sign midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall permanently, in a deal that could be worth up to £29 million.
Softfootball gathered that the Merseyside club will pay an initial £25 million fee, with a further £3–4 million in performance-related add-ons included in the package. Dewsbury-Hall has also agreed to personal terms, clearing the path for the formal process of completing the transfer.
Everton, who had previously shown interest in Dewsbury-Hall before his Leicester departure, reignited talks following Chelsea’s willingness to listen to offers. As Softfootball earlier reported over an hour ago, about the interest from the Toffees, whose interest was accepted by the Blues.

The move suits all parties, with Chelsea looking to trim their squad and comply with financial sustainability regulations, while Everton adds a ready-made Premier League midfielder to a squad in need of reinforcements.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, he shared on his verified X handle the progress made over Dewsbury-Hall.

“EXCL: Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to Everton, here we go! Permanent deal agreed with Chelsea and player side.
“Understand fee is worth £25m fixed plus add-ons up to £28/29m total package.”
The 25-year-old only joined Chelsea earlier this summer in a £30 million move from Leicester City, reuniting briefly with former Foxes manager Enzo Maresca. However, his time at Stamford Bridge now looks set to be short-lived.
Dewsbury-Hall featured in 36 appearances with the Blues, scoring five and assisting four. He was also influential in Chelsea’s UEFA Conference League success. Despite flashes of his ball-carrying ability and tireless midfield energy, he faced stiff competition in a crowded midfield department that includes Moisés Caicedo, Enzo Fernández, and Cole Palmer.
Dewsbury-Hall was a key figure in Leicester’s Championship title win, scoring 12 goals and providing 14 assists in 44 league appearances. His box-to-box style, ability to break lines with passes or driving runs, and high work ethic made him one of the most influential players outside the top flight. It was that form that initially earned him the Chelsea switch.
At Everton, he is expected to slot into David Moyes’ midfield alongside Idrissa Gana Gueye and James Garner. Dyche is believed to have been heavily involved in pushing for the move, viewing Dewsbury-Hall as a player capable of providing drive, composure, and creativity from central areas.
Everton, who recorded a 2-2 draw against Manchester United last Sunday, will conclude their pre-season games on Saturday against AS Roma.
