Bayer Leverkusen new signing, Jarell Quansah will wear the no.4 jersey as he begins a new chapter with the former Bundesliga champions.
Softfootball understands that the 22-year-old would go straight into the first team of Erik Ten Hag as they look to compete in the UEFA Champions League and domestic competitions next season.

The 22-year-old new Leverkusen no 4 told the club’s official website: “I was able to get a good impression of the team and the club when Liverpool played Leverkusen in the Champions League last season.
“A brilliant team – for the first hour they played like almost no other side at Anfield.
“The ambitious targets here were clearly explained to me during the negotiations. It’s a great role and challenge for me to be part of the current Leverkusen rebuild.”
Recall earlier, Softfootball reported how close the deal was to sign the Liverpool defender. Now, Quansah is a Leverkusen player and it will be the first time he is playing abroad in his career after serving Liverpool since he was five years old.

Although, he played 16 games on loan at Bristol Rovers back in 2023, he returned to Anfield and featured in 58 first team games which has now built him for his new adventure in the Bundesliga.
Quansah finished his career at Liverpool by helping them win their 20th Premier League title and was also part of the England squad that won the European U-21 tournament in June.
