Dealings in the transfer window are heating up as clubs try to fortify their squads ahead of the 2025/26 season and Bayern Munich are in the thick of negotiations for new players.
Softfootball can report that the Bavarians have started chasing for Manchester United star, Marcus Rashford after their bid for main target Luis Diaz was rejected by Liverpool.

Liverpool consider Diaz untouchable and Reds manager, Arne Slot wants the attacker in his squad for next season. The Colombian played a key role for the 20-time Premier League Champions as they won the title last season, scoring 17 goals with five assists in 50 games in all competitions.
Diaz joined Liverpool in January 2022 and so far has scored 41 goals in 148 appearances over the past three and a half seasons.
According to Sunsport, Bayern wanted Diaz as replacement for German international Leroy Sane who left for Turkish champions Galatasaray. The Bavarians need to fix the left side of their attack as Kingsley Coman may likely also leave the club this summer.
Bayern have now turned their attention to Rashford and we’re impressed with how he played during his loan spell with Aston Villa. Manchester United want £40million for the England international but the stumbling block for Bayern could be his £350, 000 weekly wages.

Recall, that Softfootball had earlier revealed that Rashford prefers a move to Barcelona but with the Catalan giants pursuing a deal for Nico Williams, the Man United academy product is willing to give the Bundesliga a try as long as they meet his demands.
Rashford has fallen out with Manchester United manager, Reuben Amorim and he is keen for a move away from Old Trafford this summer.
