Barcelona have left Alejandro Balde, Marc Casadó and Héctor Fort out of the matchday squad for their clash against Elche, fueling speculation over their futures at the club.

The decision comes as Barcelona continue to make adjustments to their squad with the 2026 summer transfer window approaching its closing stages. Softfootball understands that all three players reportedly have potential opportunities to leave before the deadline.

Although their omission does not necessarily confirm that Barcelona are actively seeking to sell them, it has increased uncertainty surrounding their situations.

Barcelona are expected to consider suitable offers for players who may not have guaranteed roles in the squad, particularly as the club continues balancing sporting and financial priorities.

With the transfer deadline approaching, the coming days could prove decisive for Balde, Casadó and Fort. Further approaches from interested clubs could determine whether any of the three remain at Camp Nou or begin a new chapter elsewhere.

For now, all three remain Barcelona players, but their absence against Elche has added fresh intrigue to their respective futures.
