Chibuike Nwaiwu was shown a straight red card in the 90+6th minute for a reckless challenge on Lisztes in Trabzonspor vs. Ferencváros in the Europa League qualifier.

Softfootball understands, Nwaiwu had the most defensive contributions (12) and the most touches (98) in the match. It was a strong performance overall, but the red card sadly dented what was otherwise a good outing.
Trabzonspor, however, lost 1–0 to Ferencváros, courtesy of the goal scored by Kristoffer Zachariassen in the 17th minute.
Nwaiwu, who will now miss a couple of matches in the Europa qualifications, had earlier been sought after by Fulham, as Softfootball reported that Fulham reached personal terms agreement with Chibuike Nwaiwu on a €30m deal, though the transfer has not been finalised.
