Denilson Backs Estevao Willian To Shine At Chelsea

Brazil World Cup winner Denilson is confident teenage star Estevao Willian will have no problems adapting to life at Chelsea when he completes his move to Stamford Bridge.

The 17-year-old, popularly known as “Messinho,” is set to join the Blues from Palmeiras at the end of the season after emerging as one of Brazil’s brightest young talents. Softfootball understands Chelsea view the winger as one of their most exciting long-term investments.

Denilson believes the Premier League now suits technically gifted players and expects Estevao to flourish in England. The former Brazil international said:

English football has changed, and his style will adapt well.

He also praised the youngster’s all-round qualities, highlighting his intelligence, dribbling ability and eye for goal.

Denilson added.

Estevao has continued to impress for Palmeiras, scoring five goals in 11 Paulista Championship appearances this season while attracting widespread praise for his performances.
