Manchester United are considering a potential loan move for Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel, according to reports.

Softfootball understands that the Premier League giants could explore a temporary deal if Bayern Munich make the highly-rated French youngster available before the transfer window closes.

The 19-year-old is reportedly keen to leave Bayern after struggling to secure regular playing time and sufficient opportunities under the German champions.

United have yet to open formal negotiations with Bayern as the club remains focused on player departures. However, the Red Devils have reportedly established contact with Tel’s representatives to assess his interest in a possible move to Old Trafford.

Tel has emerged as an option for manager Ruben Amorim, who is keen to strengthen his attacking options before Friday’s deadline.

The potential departures of Marcus Rashford or Alejandro Garnacho could also influence United’s decision to pursue the French forward.

Any move would depend on Bayern’s willingness to sanction a loan deal and United’s ability to create room in their squad.
