Arsenal kept the pressure on Premier League leaders Liverpool after grinding out a hard-fought 1 – 0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.

The Gunners faced a difficult challenge after Myles Lewis-Skelly was shown a straight red card shortly before halftime, forcing Mikel Arteta’s side to play with 10 men for a significant part of the match.

Softfootball understands that the Arsenal displayed impressive discipline and resilience before the contest became level again when Wolves also had a player dismissed in the second half.\
