Liverpool manager Arne Slot believes Nottingham Forest will provide one of his side’s toughest Premier League challenges when the teams meet on Tuesday, Softfootball reports.
Forest are the only club to have beaten Liverpool in the league this season, and Slot expects another demanding encounter against Nuno Espirito Santo’s in-form side.

Liverpool currently sit at the top of the table, while Forest have established themselves among the league’s surprise contenders.
Slot acknowledged the impressive work done by their opponents and believes their position reflects the consistency they have shown throughout the campaign.
Speaking ahead of the match, Slot said:
I have always said you can judge the table best halfway through the season.
They are up there with the rest so they are definitely a team in competition with us and the others. If you look at the way they play and their results then it is deserved.
He also praised Forest’s style of play, adding:
They have a hard-working team without the ball and they can also hold the ball. They are a team that hardly concede goals and they defend with 11 players.
Liverpool are preparing for a difficult contest.
