Former Arsenal defender Adrian Clarke believes West Ham United winger Mohammed Kudus would be the perfect player to fill the void left by the injured Bukayo Saka, Softfootball reports.
Arsenal have been without Saka since the England international suffered a hamstring injury during the Gunners’ 5-1 victory over Crystal Palace in December. The winger has since undergone surgery and is expected to remain sidelined until March, dealing a significant blow to Arsenal’s Premier League title ambitions.
Clarke believes Mikel Arteta should consider making a move for Kudus during the January transfer window, insisting the Ghana international possesses the qualities needed to strengthen Arsenal’s attack.
The former Arsenal player highlighted Kudus’ versatility, noting that the 24-year-old can operate on the wing or through the middle as a striker. He also praised the West Ham star’s ability to carry the ball forward and influence games in the final third.
