Mohamed Salah produced another record-breaking display as Liverpool defeated Tottenham Hotspur 6-3 in a thrilling Premier League encounter, further cementing his place among the competition’s all-time greats.

The Egyptian forward scored twice and provided two assists in a breathtaking attacking performance as Arne Slot’s side extended their lead at the top of the table.

Softfootball reports Salah’s latest exploits saw him become the first player in Premier League history to reach double figures for both goals and assists before Christmas in a single season.

The Liverpool star also set another remarkable milestone by becoming the first player since the Premier League’s inception in 1992 to register at least 10 goals and 10 assists in four consecutive seasons.

His brace took his league tally to 15 goals, moving him ahead of Manchester City’s Erling Haaland in the race for the Golden Boot, while his two assists increased his season total to 11.

Liverpool’s emphatic victory also extended their unbeaten run to 21 matches in all competitions and moved them four points clear at the top of the Premier League standings.
