Former England international Joe Cole believes Marc Guiu has all the qualities needed to become Chelsea’s first-choice striker within the next two years following his impressive displays this season.
Softfootball gathers that the 18-year-old enhanced his growing reputation with a superb hat-trick against Shamrock Rovers in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
Guiu joined Chelsea from Barcelona during the summer and has quickly shown why the Blues invested in one of Spain’s brightest young talents.

Speaking to TNT Sports, Cole admitted he was surprised Barcelona allowed the striker to leave and predicted a bright future for the teenager at Stamford Bridge. Cole said:
My thought with Marc Guiu is, how did Barcelona let him go?
When I watch him play, and he’s 18 years of age, this kid, in two years’ time, could be an established, unbelievable No. 9.
The former Chelsea midfielder also praised Guiu’s movement, aggression and instinct inside the penalty area, insisting those natural qualities cannot be coached and will help him develop into one of the Premier League’s leading forwards.
