Chelsea winger Jadon Sancho says he remains determined to prove himself at Stamford Bridge, following his second goal in Blues colours during Sunday’s 4-3 win over Tottenham.
The England international, who joined Chelsea on loan from Manchester United over the summer, played a key role in the dramatic London derby comeback.
Softfootball understands Sancho reflected on his growing confidence since arriving at the club while speaking to SuperSport TV. He said:
From day one, they made me feel welcome at Chelsea. I know that I have a lot of people to prove wrong.
Sancho also expressed gratitude toward those who have supported his development since his arrival, adding:
I’ve been working very hard. Let me say thank you to the staff and the team for believing in me and giving me this opportunity.
With his form steadily improving, Sancho will be hoping to continue building momentum as Chelsea push further up the Premier League table.
