Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has defended Martin Ødegaard following criticism over the Arsenal captain’s withdrawal from Norway’s UEFA Nations League squad.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Haaland dismissed suggestions that his international teammate was unwilling to represent his country, insisting the midfielder would have played if he had been physically able.
