Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has tipped fellow Brazilian Vinicius Jr to win the 2024 Ballon d’Or award.
Softfootball noted that Vinicius remains one of the leading favourites for the prize after playing a key role in Real Madrid’s success last season.
The Ballon d’Or conversation has dominated headlines across Europe in recent weeks, with the next winner set to be announced soon.
Vinicius is currently seen as one of the strongest contenders for the award, ahead of Real Madrid teammate Jude Bellingham and Manchester City midfielder Rodri.

Ederson, however, believes his Brazil teammate has done enough to be crowned the best player in world football.
Speaking in an interview with TNT Sports Brazil, the Manchester City star said he hopes Vinicius wins the award because of everything he achieved last season.
Vinicius was outstanding for Real Madrid as they won both La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.
The Brazilian winger also scored the second goal in Madrid’s 2-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final.
