Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has spoken about the club’s dressing room, Vinícius Júnior’s contract situation, and Kylian Mbappé’s position, addressing several rumours circulating in recent days.

Speaking to the media, Pérez insisted the Real Madrid locker room remains harmonious, stressing that minor training‑ground incidents should not be exaggerated.
These were his words:
The locker room is wonderful.
They’re the same guys they’ve always been, and they’re all friends.
But if one of them steps on another’s foot during training and they get angry, we shouldn’t blow it out of proportion.

Pérez’s comments come amid reports of tension after claims that Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni were involved in a confrontation. The Madrid president moved quickly to calm the situation, insisting the squad remains united.

On Vinícius Júnior, Pérez debunked rumours that the Brazilian is demanding money to renew his contract. Softfootball gathered, He expressed full confidence that Vini Jr will remain at Real Madrid, reaffirming the club’s commitment to keeping one of their most important players.

Regarding Kylian Mbappé, Pérez noted that the French star has been playing in a different role compared to his time at PSG, the club that won the 2024/25 and 2025/26 Champions League titles. He maintained that Mbappé’s adaptation is part of the tactical evolution under the current coaching setup.
