It was a night of emotion, pride and unforgettable family moments as Paul Onuachu inspired Trabzonspor to a 2–1 victory over Konyaspor to lift the Turkish Cup.
The Nigerian striker scored twice, once in each half to secure the trophy and earn the Man of the Match award for a dominant performance.
Softfootball gathered that Onuachu’s mother flew all the way from Nigeria to Turkey to witness the final. She joined his wife and children in the stands, watching him deliver one of the most memorable performances of his career. After the final whistle, the family gathered on the pitch to take photos and celebrate a night they will cherish forever.
The triumph also marked a proud moment for the Super Eagles trio at Trabzonspor.
