Nigerian football content creator D Real Kombo has delivered a detailed breakdown of the thrilling UEFA Champions League semi-final clash between Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, which ended in a dramatic 5-4 first-leg victory for PSG.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Kombo highlighted key statistics, noting Bayern’s dominance in possession with 57% compared to PSG’s 43%. However, efficiency proved decisive, as PSG converted all five of their shots on target from 12 attempts, while Bayern managed four goals from eight shots on target.

He said:
Shots on target, this is the interesting part psg has 5 shots on target and they scored 5 goals that’s to tell you Manuel Neuer was trash today. Them shoot you 5 shots, all the ball enter post. As a world class top notch goal keeper , 5 shots on target all enter post on the other hand Bayern Munich hard 8 shots on target and they scored 4.
So on the balance of goal keeping, psg goalkeeper was better than Manuel Neuer. Bayern Munich had 6 big chances created, and they scored only 4 goals so the balance of the game, Bayern Munich was the better team but they lost the game and they would have lost this game with a bigger margin.

He was particularly critical of Bayern’s defensive setup and goalkeeper performance, suggesting they failed to cope with PSG’s clinical attack. In contrast, he praised PSG’s goalkeeper for making crucial contributions during key moments of the match.
Softfootball also gathered that Kombo also pointed out that Bayern’s midfield struggled, with the absence of Serge Gnabry clearly felt. Despite the defensive concerns, he commended both teams’ attacking displays, describing them as the standout feature of the encounter.
