Chelsea will not sack Liam Rosenior, as the club has reaffirmed its stance that they are backing the manager. Softfootball supports this decision, as it does not make sense to bring in a manager for half a season and then want to sack him.
Before a manager is sacked, he must have a full pre-season, opportunities to make adjustments to the squad, alter the playing style, and implement his own ideas. If not given that opportunity and then sacked, it does not make sense.

Liam Rosenior is obviously working on the back of what Enzo Maresca built, as he cannot make any radical changes immediately. Judging him in this short period is unfair.
Obviously, there are some players Rosenior feels are not up to his standard, and these players may need to be changed as he brings in his preferred options. Softfootball believes that with time, Chelsea could see success, as sacking him now after offering a five-year contract, only a few months in, is not obtainable.
