Marco Reus has shared his thoughts on Jadon Sancho’s future, urging the winger to prioritize finding the right environment to rediscover his best form.
Softfootball earlier reported that Dortmund are currently working on a deal to bring Sancho back as he prepares to leave Manchester United as a free agent.
The decision for his departure was made months ago, with the winger expected to assess multiple offers ahead of the summer transfer window. Any move, however, will depend on financial agreements between all parties.
In comments confirmed by Fabrizio Romano via his x handle, the former Borussia Dortmund captain advised Sancho to carefully consider where he feels most at home.
Fabrizio posted:
Marco Reus on Jadon Sancho’s potential return to Borussia Dortmund: “My main advice to Jadon is to look around and see where he can feel at home again and get back to his best”. “And if that turns out to be at BVB, it would be good for him and for BVB”, told BILD.

Reus added that a return to Dortmund could benefit both the player and the club if the conditions are right.
Sancho previously enjoyed a highly successful spell at Dortmund after joining from Manchester City in 2017, establishing himself as one of Europe’s most exciting attackers.
Meanwhile, in another major development, Mohamed Salah has announced he will leave Liverpool FC on a free transfer, despite having a contract running until 2027, marking the end of an era at Anfield.
