Softfootball can confirm Enzo Fernández has cast doubt over his long-term future at Chelsea FC after admitting he is unsure whether he will remain at the club beyond the current season.
The uncertainty follows a difficult period for Chelsea, who were heavily beaten 3–0 by Paris Saint-Germain at Stamford Bridge, sealing an 8–2 aggregate defeat and elimination from the UEFA Champions League. After already winning 5–2 in Paris, PSG showed no mercy in the second leg.
Speaking in comments confirmed by Fabrizio Romano via his X handle, the Argentine midfielder said:

Can you guarantee you’re gonna stay at Chelsea for future? Enzo Fernández: “I don’t know — there are 8 games left and the FA Cup. There’s the World Cup and then we’ll see”, told ESPN Argentina.
Fernández, who joined Chelsea for a British record £107 million fee in January 2023, has made over 150 appearances for the club. This season, the 25-year-old has featured 45 times across all competitions, registering 12 goals and six assists.
Despite his importance to the squad, his recent comments suggest uncertainty over his future, with the midfielder keeping his options open as the season approaches its conclusion.
