Yacine Adli begins a new adventure in Saudi Arabia, ending his AC Milan chapter. The French-Algerian midfielder has officially signed for Al Shabab after both clubs reached a full agreement on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
Softfootball reported that the midfielder already agreed to the move in a deal valued at around €8 million, including add-ons. Adli agreed to a three-year contract running until June 2028 and immediately completed his medical before the official announcement.

For the 25-year-old, the switch marks a major financial step. His new salary stands at about €7 million net per season—almost triple what he earned at Milan. The move also ends weeks of uncertainty after he was excluded from Massimiliano Allegri’s first-team plans and relegated to Milan’s second group.
Adli’s time with the Rossoneri includes 39 appearances, one goal, and two assists. His most productive spell came during a loan at Fiorentina, where he registered five goals and seven assists in 35 matches, showing the creativity that first caught Milan’s attention.

Al Shabab unveiled the midfield maestro in a catchy surveillance-themed video posted on the team’s official X handle.

Al Shabab finalises the transfer just hours before the Saudi Pro League window closes on September 11. The SEG agency oversaw the negotiations, ensuring the midfielder secured both playing time and financial security.
For Adli, this move offers a fresh start after a difficult summer in Italy. For Al Shabab, it is another statement signing as the Saudi Pro League continues to attract European talent.
