Premier League side, Wolves have sacked Head Coach, Vitor Pereira following a series of poor results this season, Softfootball reports.

Wolves lost 3-0 at Fulham in Pereira’s last game for the club which left them bottom of the league with just two points after 10 matches and the only side without a win in the competition.

According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, the manager and Wolves have parted ways. He wrote:

BREAKING: Wolves sack Vitor Pereira. Decision made as head coach leaves Wolves job with immediate effect, as @JacobsBen @JPercyTelegraph report.

In the summer, Pereira lost a lot of key players. Brazilian forward, Matheus Cunha joined Manchester United for £62.5m, left back Rayan Ait-Nouri moved to Manchester City for £31m and right back Nelson Semedo made a switch to Fenerbahce when his contract expired.

Wolves were eliminated from the Carabao Cup in the last 16 by Chelsea but before then they beat West Ham and Everton in previous rounds.

Pereira replaced Gary O’Neil last season when Wolves were in 19th place and he guided them away from relegation by finishing 16th.
